Before the start of the 1998 season, Hershey was dead-set against creating a Super 6 Tournament. It was voted in anyway, and the Red Storm moped around, playing bad basketball in each of the first four postseason events. Fast forward to 2007. Hershey is finally warming up to this tourney idea.UH won the Super 6 Tournament for the fourth time in five years, 58-54 over Great Lakes Christian in the '07 Championship Game. Greg Oden closed out his first season with 22 points as the Red Storm hoisted its eighth banner to the rafters, more than any other team. (see complete championship listing below)
Superior Baptist, the 2006/2007 regular season champions, finished its season on a winning note, beating Robert Montgomery 54-49 in the third place consolation game.
