Drew Neitzel torched Hershey as Superior Baptist came out of the gate with a 70-46 rout of the Red Storm to tipoff the new Super 6 season. Despite being benched to start the second half, Neitzel still managed to rack up a career-high 32 points to earn Player of the Week honors. Ivan Harris and Carl Landry combined for 25 more as the Crusaders looked like a legitimate title contender, at least in the early going. Greg Oden tossed in 14 in his first game for the Red Storm ... Dan Coleman scored a career-high 29 points and Geary Claxton added 21 to lead Great Lakes Christian to a 74-67 win over Nelson Christian. Coleman, who rode the pines for a good portion of last season, finally lived up to his potential as a solid starter and carried the Crusaders to the win. The Doves were paced by Warren Carter's 21 points, and freshmen Tyler Smith tacked on 16 points in his Super 6 debut ... Adam Haluska had 21 points as Robert Montgomery U tipped off the '06/'07 campaign with a 61-51 win over Oskee Wow-wow. Freshman first-rounder Kevin Coble tacked on 12 for the Knights. Alando Tucker had 20 points to lead the two-time defending champion Warriors, who have already equaled last year's loss total.
