Game 3 - Warming Up

Around the Super 6 through Game 3 (12/30) - Great Lakes Christian's Geary Claxton is starting to warm up, and the Crusaders are keeping the heat on the rest of the league. Claxton was named Player of the Week after scoring 31 points in GLC's 73-35 win over Oskee Wow-wow. The Crusaders (3-0) would have scored 100 points if Goran Suton (27 pts) would have started. He may start soon, because Ron Lewis hasn't helped at all. Alando Tucker and Shaun Pruitt led OWW (0-3) with 11 points each ... Robert Montgomery U is the only other unbeaten team. Adam Haluska followed up his Game 2 explosion with a 29-point effort as RMU moved to 3-0 with an 88-72 win over Superior Baptist. Daequan Cook added 23 for the Knights, who take their high-powered offense to Hershey this week. SBU fell to 2-1 despite a career-high 25 points from Jamelle Cornley ... Spencer Tollackson had 21 points to help Nelson Christian win for the first time this season, 66-51 over Hershey. Tyler Smith added 18 for the Doves. Greg Oden (18) and Lawrence McKenzie (17) led the 0-3 Red Storm, who are keeping Oskee Wow-wow company in the Super 6 basement.
