Game 7 - Nobody's Perfect, Again

Robert Montgomery U climbed to within one game of first place, and ended GLC's hopes for a perfect season, with a 65-47 win in Game 7 (1/16-1/20). RMU's Marcus Landry scored 21 points in a rare start and Kevin Coble, who's been unstoppable since his return to the team, added 19. After an 0-2 start, the Knights have racked up 5 straight wins to turn up the heat on front-running GLC. The Crusaders lost for the first time this season AND lost leading scorer Geary Claxton for the season with an ACL injury ... Superior Baptist snapped a four-game skid with a 72-54 win over Nelson Christian. Jamelle Cornley, who should become a big-time scorer at Penn State with Claxton out, paced the Crusaders with 19 points ... Keaton Grant scored 22 points to lead Oskee Wow-Wow past Hershey, 69-54. Shaun Pruitt tacked on 19 for the Warriors, who have won three of their last four. Hershey has dropped four straight.

Years Of Imperfection ... The Super 6 has never had an undefeated champion. GLC's Game 7 loss keeps that streak alive for the 17th season. Somewhere, Jeff Horner is jumping.
