Great Lakes Christian and Hershey will battle this week for the 2008 Super 6 Tournament Championship. It's a rematch of last year's title game, which UH won 58-54.D.J. White scored 16 points as GLC advanced to the final with a 58-44 win over Nelson Christian, while UH knocked off top-seeded Robert Montgomery U 72-66 in the other semifinal, snapping RMU's record 10-game winning streak.
It's been a great year for GLC, which claimed a share of the regular season title with a 10-2 record, including a three-game sweep of UH. Hershey, always a threat in the postseason (but never in the regular season), is looking to win the tournament championship for the 5th time in the last 6 years.
In the 5th place consolation game, Oskee Wow-Wow beat Superior Baptist 59-54. It was the last game for three SBU seniors, Drew Neitzel, Michael Flowers and Tarrance Crump, while Shaun Pruitt played his last game as a Warrior.
