SBU Crusaders 103, UNC Doves 39
On the coldest week of the year, Lawrence Westbrook and SBU got red hot. Westbrook lit it up for 29 points and Jamelle Cornley added 26 as Superior Baptist became the first team in two years to break the century mark, downing Nelson Christian 103-39 in Game 6 - (1/13 - 1/18). Mike Tisdale and Talor Battle combined for 44 more to help SBU became the first team to total 100+ points since December of 2006, when RMU scored 104 against Nelson Christian. The win keeps the Crusaders tied for first place with RMU at 5-1.RMU Knights 73, UH Red Storm 49
It didn't take long for Robert Montgomery U to start a new winning streak. Manny Harris scored 21 points as RMU rebounded from a Game 5 loss to beat Hershey, 73-49. Marcus Landry added 18 for the Knights, who won without Kevin Coble in the lineup. Coach Mockler has reportedly benched Coble for skipping weight room workouts. UH (1-5) had a chance to win going into the weekend, but Jon Diebler scored only 3 points on Saturday, and Cyrus Tate, still nursing an ankle injury, didn't play on Sunday.GLC Crusaders 68, OWW Warriors 43
Great Lakes Christian's Spartan trio of Goran Suton, Kalin Lucas and Raymar Morgan combined for 45 points to lead the Crusaders over Oskee Wow-wow, 68-43. Robbie Hummel added 15 points for GLC (4-2), the first time since Game 2 that Hummel has cracked double digits. Again this week OWW's offense came from Demetri McCamey and Evan Turner, who accounted for 30 of the Warriors' 43 points.Click here for Game 6 boxes
