Around the Super 6 - Game 2

Around the Super 6 through Game 2 (12/20-12/28) ... Marco Killingsworth earned his first Player of the Week award as Robert Montgomery U stormed Hershey, 92-35. Marco's 27 points sparked an explosion that included 22 points from Robert Vaden and (can you believe it!!!) 18 from Brian Butch. The 92-point night was RMU's biggest game in whocanrememberwhen? The Knights broke the 70-point mark just once last year. No Hershey player put in enough effort to have his name included in this update ... Great Lakes Christian has a point to prove. After getting ripped by Slick Vitalis with a preseason #5 ranking, the Crusaders are out to show they can play with the league's elite. Mission accomplished in Game 2. Vincent Grier finished with 25 points and Je'Kel Foster added 19 in his season debut, as Great Lakes Christian held off Nelson Christian, 82-70. UNC fell despite big games in Green Bay from Paul Davis and Shannon Brown, who combined for 51 of the Doves 70 points. UNC's Moe Hargrow sat out for "disciplinary reasons". Still, the Doves had a chance to win the game late, but number one pick Kammron Taylor scored only one basket, dropping them into a four-team log jam at 1-1 ... By Oskee Wow-wow standards it was an off week, but the Warriors still had enough to handle Superior Baptist, 70-44. Terence Dials led the way with 19 points and Greg Brunner added 17 for OWW (2-0). Mo Ager finished with 25 points and Jamelle Cornely had 13 to pace the Crusaders.
